Michael J. Keaton

Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, Drexel University (He/Him)

Mike Keaton began his admissions career in 1998 as an Admission Counselor at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He also served as Assistant Director of Admissions at Northeastern University before moving to Haverford College in 2001.  During his 11 years a Haverford, Mike held several roles, including Senior Associate Director of Admission and Director of Multicultural Recruitment. In 2012, Mike “switched sides of the desk,” and spent 5 years at Friends’ Central School as Co-Director of College Counseling. In 2017 Mike returned to admissions at Drexel University. Mike is a former PACAC Summer Institute Faculty member and has presented at both NACAC and College Board conferences. He has a keen interest in the representation of college admissions in media and popular culture.

Kristi Ryan

Assistant Director of Financial Aid and Senior Admissions Officer, Harvard College  (She/Her)

Growing up in a small college town in Vermont, Kristi developed a passion for higher education at a young age. After working as a classroom teacher and coach for nearly ten years, Kristi found a home in Harvard’s Admissions and Financial Aid Office, where there is a focus on improving access and removing barriers to higher education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in physics from Bowdoin College and a master’s in education from Harvard University. She lives with her husband and two daughters in the Boston area.
