The Equestrian Team finished the season with a show held at Deepwood Farm.  Former member of the Gould faculty Lucia Owen served as the judge, and the scribe for the event was Pat Wright.

Fans from the Farm and Forest program came to watch, as did Head of School Tao Smith and Athletic Director Bob Harkins. Greg Gilman came along to capture images of the day.

“The team truly appreciated having fans,” said Coach Kristen Drew. “The event showcased a tremendous amount of growth of each of the riders during the fall season.”

Cate Maccini ’22 earned 1st place in both tests. Casper Daigle ’22 and Leah Ohms ’21 each earned a 1st and a 2nd place. Tatum Keighly ’22 earned a 2nd and a 3rd place, and Madeleine Long (Gould’s only middle school rider) earned a 3rd place.

“All of the riders should be very proud of their accomplishments this fall,” said Drew.  “Instructor DiAnne Ward and I truly appreciated your enthusiasm and dedication.”

To truly cap off the season, the riders went on a midnight trail ride with DiAnne during the full moon the following night.
