On Saturday afternoon, Gould harriers traveled to the Hyde School to take on a challenging course that is run on fields, mountain biking trails, and even a track.
“Once again, Nate Livingood finished atop the boys’ bracket, and Reese Furneaux led the way for our girls,” says Coach Adam Leff.
Nate Livingood led team members back on the course to cheer on the last of the Gould runners to cross the line. Season’s best runs were had by Hannah Grohman, Peyton Meader, and James Yao.
“Smiles were seen all around at the conclusion of the race,” added Leff. “All on the team are rounding into form and ready to tackle the season-ending two-race series at the really fast University of Maine Augusta course that is used for the Maine State Championships.”
