Beijing Day 2
(Written by Ms. Andreozzi) Blue skies and sunshine, as we toured Beijing with Mr. Penley leading the charge. We started with a walk into Tiananmen Square and made our way into the Forbidden City. Can you find us all?
Everyone had a chance to wonder and explore after Mr. Penley gave us our history lesson. Once through the Forbidden City, we strolled through Jingshan Park. At the highest point, the Pagoda of Eternal Spring, we had a breathtaking view of the city and even the mountains surrounding Beijing. Lunch was next with noodles being the highlight. After lunch next stop was Bei Hai Park with a ferry ride, journaling, and ice cream. And during all this not a cloud in the sky!
